Anyone remember this from the Amiga/Atari computers. For the time period it was a fantastic program and it was freeware I got it of a cover disk for the Atari. It was basically the vector part of Anim pro although you could also move about bitmap based objects(but not distort in anyway).Vectors were as easy to animate as they are in Anime Pro(without bones)and you could move points in 3d space so you could potentially make a 3d objects(potentially but very tedious realistically). As it was vector based file sizes were small even for computers of the time so you could do pretty long animations.Another vector based animation program of the time was Fantavision which also made its way onto the PC,its vector animation was more limited but you could add sound to animations which was pretty easy to do and made animation more solid.

I had Aegis Animator on the Amiga. Pretty cool program, especially for the mid-1980s.

I used both DeLuxe Paint and Autodesk Animator on the PC back in the day. (goes all misty-eyed).

Aegis Animator also inspired to organize a competition of animation that gave rise to an animation demo created on the Amiga was very popular at that time.
