had some downtime today so thought I'd give this a go...
here's a quick sculpt of my dog Samba. Pretty cool program!

I first did the head out of the initial sphere, and then added additional spheres to sculpt the ears.

I'll look for some fur brushes to see if I can give him some details.

Looking good!

Used to have one of those, very stubborn dogs.

That's looking pretty good Funk. I've been playing with it and the problem I'm having is I keep being tempted to use the GO Z feature to send the model to ZBRUSH. There are so many tools there that I've gotten so used to that I can't seem to do without them. But I want to make a completely SCULPTRIS model. I'll post a screen shot here when I get it close so you can see. :)

there's something wrong with it... its ok but doesn't look like my dog :(

looks great.... I think if you added a bit more clay to the side of the models temples (on the side of the head next to eyes) that would soften it up... your doggy is softer and has sadder eyes.. :D
just a suggestion

Here's a quick sculpt I did in about 90 min. I cheated a little by importing a simple figure mesh, but there is a figure already in the file of SCULPTRIS and it is more detailed than mine so its fair IMO. I have no skill( as is clear from the shots) but I'm impressed how well its turning out. Most of my time in this was spent on the hands( they're a nightmare to do in this app) and they're far from being right. I'll keep at it. :)

working on it Funk. Still can't get used to the tools yet. MUST fight temptation to take it into ZBRUSH to fix them proper. MUST do in SCULPTRIS! MUST FIGHT!!
