Don't hesitate to buy aniMate... It's so easy to use !!!
My first animation exported in .avi format then converted into .gif format :

Hi p6r.

What is Animate? I could not find it on Google. Is it animation software or gif conversion software? Do you have a link?

Cheers

Hello DK,

aniMate is a new plugin for Daz Studio.
See on daz3d.com and on youtube from their site and the links to videos !
It works with "aniblocks" to drag and drop on a timeline !
I needed... 1 second... to make this animation !!! 8)

How it works :
1- Place your characters and objects on the scene.
2- Select one character and drag the dance animation block for example on the timeline and export into .avi ! Finished !!!

You can use some included aniblocks or you can buy other blocks but the Best Thing is that you can create and save your own aniblocks... from zero or from bvh file !

People on Daz forum are afraid and wonder if it is really interesting to buy this plugin...
I can answer : YES !!! So easy and powerful !!! (And I don't earn any money to say that ! I'm just an user not a vendor !)
I have installed it and I needed 3 seconds to understand it !!! Incredible !!!

Just enjoy this intelligent plugin...

So p6r did you use this program in Anime Studio, or if it is a film did you place it and follow frame by frame?

Hello wena,

No...
I made this whole animation in another (free 3D) program called Daz Studio.
And I had used the new plugin Animate for that...

Thank you p6r, I did have my suspicions, now I am sure it would be possible to use a film in amine studio as guides for good movements. Or has there been some one who has already made a "aniMate" like program for us, on the same lines as the one for Daz3D and Poser 8 I think have it built in.

I am now prodding our fellow members to react to this, we do have experts on the forum.

I ralis that I am replying to my own mail, I thought I should expand a little, ANIBLOCK is a peace of animation that an animator needs to use, may be several times. I the examples that I and others have refereed to thy are in a program that is not AS.

The walk cycle is a good example. They would be very handy.
