I've found this link for an old program from our great Mike. Do you know if is it still alive?. It seems that the trial version link is broken.

A fully-functional demo can be downloaded still. The drawback of the demo is that the output loses some colour.

I doubt that it is in any way alive, however.

You may also want to check out Autostitch - the free demo does amazing work on JPGs... If you want to buy a great pano software, then Autopano Pro is well worth the money (and based on the Autostitch algorithms), has a good community and conscientious developer.
