I dunno bout disney, but as far as i remember my favorite Japanese Manga Red Hawk(1995) had an entire scene rotoscoped step by step from another of my favorite Japanese Anime Street Fighter the movie(the fight between Sagat, Ryu and the fight between Redhawk and giant)

Ya! neither disney nor any other 2d animator could ever achieve that kindda look and fluid animation (Street Fighter 1994)

to be fair this was really old stuff.
Disney animators are undoubtedly among the most expert in the world.
If they are forced to be cheesey almost all the time and reuse once in a blue moon, then that is tragic.
If only the world could harness their talent for good, not evil....
I wonder what Angry Monster thinks... he is one of our forum members and a fantastic ex-Disney animator.
