Animated German TV trailers from the 70's

Today I finally found some childhood memories, maybe of interest to those who ask me about my influences. These trailers introduced certain re-occuring programs for years.

These were most probably done by Helmut Herbst (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helmut_Herbst), who, together with Franz Winzentsen (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Winzentsen), formed the Hamburg based studio Cinegrafik. Much of their work used cutout animation, but in general "mixed media" would be a better fit.

This design practically screams Heinz Edelmann (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinz_Edelmann), who, as we all know, was responsible for the design (and even part of the script) of Yellow Submarine.

very nice piece of art, if you dont say its from the seventies i would have guessed that they were produced today. strange how cartoons can be timeless and looks good even after 40 years.
i also love cutout, experiencing with it, just nowadays found a cute little cutout made by an English guy /made in photoshop (layers) and AE/
