I downloaded the trial, which I presume it to be the normal version, and found that there was no onion skin tool on the timeline like it showed in the tutorial.
My first question is: Is the onion skin hidden, or is it Pro version only? As a frame-by-frame Flash animator, onion skin is required in my book.
Second: What are some of the minor differences (like so above) between the normal version and Pro? Besides of course the main ones listed like 3d and stuff.

Hi Goei,
onion-skin is a Pro-only feature.
You can find the full feature difference list at the e-frontier comparison page. Either go to http://www.e-frontier.com/go/products/animestudio and select Feature Comparison from the menu on the left, or go directly to http://www.e-frontier.com/go/products/animestudio
Regards, Myles.
