Xara Xtreme Import Query

I've got a trial version of Xara Xtreme Pro. Can anyone who uses it along with AM, tell me if it is possible to import into AM, for example just a circle that contains a gradient fill. I've tried eps, png, targa etc

I can import it in bounded by a slection box...but that not what I'm after.

Xara will export solid fills, but won't export vector gradients to AM (I suppose it's the usual incompatibilities between programs). However, it will export bitmaps (eg, PNG), which can then be imported into AM in the normal way...To get rid of the selection box, you need to set the colour depth to "True colour + alpha".
