DPI doesn't apply here. Images will be rendered at the pixel dimensions you've set in the project settings. Only when you print them you can say how many pixels will be spread on an inch.

What SlowTiger says is correct: DPI is meaningless in most animation programs. The term only applies to print work.

What you need to do is get the required DPI is for your print project and then render the image at a resolution that meets that requirement. For example, if the DPI requirement is 300 DPI and the target print size it 8 x 10 inches, then you need to render the image at 2400 x 3000 pixels (300 dots per inch x 8 inches, etc.) You can get this info from your client or from the printing service that will be used.

After rendering the image from Moho, you can set the DPI in a image editing program. For example, in Photoshop you can enter the DPI value in the Image Size panel. (Be sure to disable the 'Resample' option before changing the DPI, otherwise it will alter your resolution.)

Thanks for the replies...Yes this is a job for print work and i found a great little thread that outlined a Photoshop procedure to get the image up to 300 dpi similar to your suggestion Greenlaw. Thanks also to penny too.
