Layer name window is too small to diopaly full name.

I am finding it difficult to easily read the names of layers in Moho 13. The window showing the name of the layer contents -for example "Nose" - only shows "N". When I change the preferences to show large fonts it still only increases the text visibility up as far as "NO" I would be much more comfortable being able to read the full name of the layer contents. - In this example "Nose"- I am following an online tutorial by Chad Troftgruben, and Chad's screenshots display the layer names in full. I do not understand why I cannot achieve the same result. Does anyone know how I can make my layer names display in full, as in the Chad Troftgruben tutorials for Moho Pro 12?
Grateful for any advice. I am using Moho 13 on iMac osx 10.14.5 Mojave

Yeah, I feel many of the tweaks described in the video should replace the 'factory' settings in Moho. To me, the 'factory' settings make the program more difficult to use than it should be.
