I'm trying to arrange a stack of layers for parallax, using the "Maintain Visual Size" feature, to automatically re-scale a layer that has been dragged along the z-axis, as described here:

I get layers imported. They are all at the same z-position. I use the orbit tool. I select the layer I want to move. I select the Transform Layer tool.
The instructions say to "Alt-Shift" click and drag the layer. I'm on a Mac. I don't have Alt. I've tired various modifier keys. Option-Shift click and drag does SOMETHING, the layer moves forward in z-dimension, and it appears to scale down as it should. However, it scales down too much, and when I reset the view, the art does not line up, it is not at the correct scale.
Ideas?

Re: Maintain Visual Size Feature
OK, it works. I was failing to use "Reset View" after moving the layer forward. Thanks for your help.
