Moho 12
Smith Micro have a special offer on Moho 12, which I will take up, would like to know if the download (digital version) overwrites existing versions, or is it a stand alone. The version I'm on right now has been very stable.
Re: Moho 12
The installer gives you the option to remove the old one. Just say 'no' if you want to keep it.
When you install an update to the same version, just rename the destination during intstallation, i.e., change 'Moho 12' to 'Moho 12.4'. This will keep the old version (12.0 or whatever,) and add the new one (12.4 or whatever.)
I usually keep only the latest version of each major release. (ASP 9.5, ASP 10, ASP 11, Moho 12.4). But to be honest, haven't had to go back to an earlier release for a few years now.
BTW, 12.4 has so far been the most stable of the 12.x releases. (IMO.)

I think Moho 12 is going to be a long release as the new "development team" gets antiquated with the code.

Yes they might well get antiquated by the time they get acquainted.InfoCentral wrote:I think Moho 12 is going to be a long release as the new "development team" gets antiquated with the code.
It's a lot to absorb , I would think.
Re: Moho 12
I've read the spec required and I only have a 32 bit processor, the software is 64 bit, would having a 32bit only device disable too many features to make the purchase still worthwhile.

Yeah, I think Anime Studio 10 was the last 32 bit version released.

Re: Moho 12
Moho still installs both 64 and 32 bit versions.

Re: Moho 12
In fact, even if you use the x64 version or use the Moho Exporter, you still need to install the x32 version to get Quicktime support. (I don't normally output directly to .mov files but have the x32 version installed just in case.)
Now I'm wondering though: can the installer install only the x32 version? I've never had to do that, so not sure.
