Adding layers makes extra folder

When I add a selected vector layer to the Library, Moho creates the layer in its own folder with the same name as the layer. This makes for a very cluttered library, as every single layer I add to it has a folder all its own. Is there a reason why it has to be this way? Every time I do it I just go into Windows Explorer and move the layer files up a level and delete the extra folder, but it's a pain and I wonder if I'm messing something up by doing this. Help?
