Blurred masking lines issue

Post by Animator101 »

Hi guys, I have used MASKING to make Godzilla go behind the building and not be seen for that time. Mask is in the folder with Godzilla rig. But even though my mask has no effect on it seems to me that it's not sharp edges. It looks like a soft edges where it should be clean cut off between the building line and Godzilla's body. I made sure and zoomed in and lines are perfect in Moho even in production screen. But once rendered I see this smudge. Can you tell what's causing this behavior ?
Thank you

Looks like you have some transparency.

Right ? That's what it looks like to me too. But mask layer that is hiding Godzilla has no Effect on it (just plain) and Opacity is 100%. Same goes for the background that is Jpeg image that serves as a background. Of course Godzilla bone layer too. Very strange.
And as you can tell by this attachment it looks good in editing window.

You're not showing the render and workspace view of the same frame. So there's no way for us to compare.
