Moho not upgrading to Pro

Hi, I have a really hard time to get my Moho Debut to upgrade to pro.
I bought the upgrade, got a download link and a serial number, but no matter what I do, I somehow always end up with Debut again.
Using the installer I got gets me to Debut. Uninstalling Moho and installing gets me Debut. Installing the demo version gets me Debut. Removing the old licence and entering the Pro licence gets me Debut.
I don't get it. Did I get the wrong installer? Am I doing something wrong?
Searching google and these forums didn't help at all.
I sent a request to technical support this morning, but they still haven't answered me.
Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Yeah, that sounds odd.

Have you checked the program directory to see if Pro was installed alongside Debut? Just wondering if you're launching the old Debut shortcut.

If that's not it, I'm wondering if you were sent the wrong serial number for Pro. Contact tech/customer support to confirm you got the correct serial number.

if you really have a pro licence and it launches as debut -- I think it's the same installer and you can ask it to install and Run as Debut

Thanks for replying.
When I install Moho it asks me if I want to uninstall the previously installed version. When I click yes, I see the icons dissapear from the desktop. And looking at the folders there is clearly only one version installed.
Maybe I should try uninstalling manually first though, just to be sure.
I contacted support about it yesterday, but my case is still unassigned. They seem to be very busy.

There is no "Run as Debut" option in preferences. And the "Help" tab still says "Upgrade to Professional Version".
I'll try to reinstall again and see if that changes.

Thanks for your help guys.
Manual deinstallation did the trick.
For some reason Moho was convinced I was still in Debut mode when it did the uninstall automatically.
Not sure what the difference is, but it works now, so I'm not complaining.
