not so classic walk bounce

Post by zoesan »

Checked YouTube, found that you could with shift key select waist bone and move figure up and down, thanks to the walk ruler by Victor, figure doesn't do the classic slip and slide, and with the colour markings could move the figure up and down slightly, still the question of 'classic walk bounce' rig remains, I'm satisfied(ish) with first results in anime pro.

If it's a short looping piece, I usually write out a GIF. TinyPic works fine for that.

If the image/GIF didn't go through, TinyPic might be down. Try again later.

For longer animations, it's better to use YouTube or Vimeo.

It's 5 secs, 440 kb. Could well be down, tried a couple of time now. I looked at output drop down menu of anime pro 8 and no GIF format, will look at Quicktime. Will register with YouTube. Thanks Greenlaw

Oh, duh, sorry, wasn't thinking. Animated GIF support was added in ASP 11. You could convert to animated GIF using Photoshop but, yeah, can't export it directly from ASP 8.

GIF or JIF The disagreement over the pronunciation led to heated Internet debate. On the occasion of receiving a lifetime achievement award at the 2013 Webby Award ceremony, Wilhite rejected the hard-"G" pronunciation.(wiki) yeaaah
Still waiting on tinypic.

Tell that to a Jraphic artist.
If it's a Jif then spell it so.
The guy's a programmer so computer language is his speciality , he probably has five types of speech impediment and difficulty holding a conversation.
Graphic is a hard G , I'm sticking with common sense.

Beneton is a good Gif maker, I used before V11.

downloaded Giphy and finally managed to upload a GIF to tinypics, it uploaded OK, but couldn't find Add To Post Button though, so attempted this. If unsuccessful will try tinypics yet again with mp4 or similar.

Image

Well this is the image you tried to post ( had to trace your ip and hack you computer to get it though)
Did you try moving the hip up and down?
The rigg might need to be altered to include ik if it does not work.
Just add the bones as per slowtiger's example
I don't see why you are not getting it.

Chucky wrote'.

Which bit, the tinypic GIF and no Upload Button or the 'hip rig bounce', there is some bounce in the movement, and its acceptable for my current skill set in anime pro, just thought the rig could be set up to accommodate 'the bounce' , rather than just selecting the bone in the waist up and down, which too me is a bit technically amateurish.
The 'hacking' sounds a bit ominous, but have met 'a white hat' hacker, so trust, just in the passing 'do you have a set of lock pick sets' my white hat hacker friend never travels without his.

Sequential offender.
my latest animations
whats this, bottom of dialogue window. 'sequential offender' what me, heaven forbid. thanks all the same

What you're asking for is a "bounce button", but sorry, this is not included. In AS you animate by manipulating bones and points, one keyframe after another. Not with clicking buttons for "walk", "more walk" or "bouncy walk". If you want that, you want a different program.
