PSD errors on project handoff. Any ideas?

Post by jayfaker »

Hey Everyone, I have a project that another person has handed off to me, and I'm going through the process of relinking files, etc. The only problem is Moho is telling me that a lot of the .psd files are invalid. But they can't be, since the other person was just using them. He was on a PC and I am on a Mac if that could be the issue. Maybe I'll try opening them in PS and saving to see if that might work. Any ideas?

Maybe the images have masks or vector layers .
I have seen this type of thing and often have a working file for the artwork and a semi flattened version , where I raster each group before using in Moho.
It would be good if Moho have a flatten (selected) groups on import, would save a lot of messing a round.

Yeah, I think there were parts of the file that were linked to other files on dropbox. I did try rasterizing all the vectors that could have been linked, but for some reason something was still not working. I started working straight off the other guy's dropbox folder and it worked that way. Thanks!
