Reference layers

On Moho 12, when I draw a circle on a vector layer, then clone it to a reference layer, then by adjusting the original, the clone is not changing. Tried several times. uising software on windows 7 computer. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Jerry

Are you making a reference or just a duplicate? Have you changed anything but layer translation on the reference? Moving the points will break the reference.

I was using the Reference layer button butI was moving points instead of the translate buttons. By using the layer translation the reference follows as you said. My confusion was that a youtube video discussing this seemed to distort the shape and I was thinking by translating the points but I must have misunderstood what they were doing.
