I am trying to understand spacewoman rig.
I note that the right thigh bone B20 isn't parented (with an arrow) to the torso like the left one (B25). But, when the torso bone is manipulated B20 moves just like B25, as if it is parented. Most rigs I see would have both these bones parented to the torso bone. What is the strategy here? And how is it done?
I see two little circles at the apex of this bone. What is that?

Re: spacewoman rig
Both legs are parented to the same bone, but it's hard to see the arrow on frame zero because of the leg positions.
The two circles mean that you have reparented that bone on a frame > 0.

Re: spacewoman rig
Besides the arrows, you can know the parent of a selected bone by its color. The bone selected is shown in red and its parent is shown in blue.
This works when using the Parent Bone tool, but also when using many of the other Bone tools.
