Headturn trumbling

Post by Gaston »

Hello Forum,
this is my first post here. I'm using Moho since Yesterday.
My first session was a headturn with a control bone. So far so good. The head turns from left to right. But when I hit the playbutton the head trumbling.
What's going wrong?

If you mean the interpolation is choppy, you just need to have more frames in your animation in the smart bone action. About 100 frames is a good place to start, so that the animation has enough "resolution" so to speak.

This is what I mean:

I have 120 frames for the turn :|

The animation in the action (smart bone) is ok, but in the mainline it's trimbling.

Looks like you have a conflicting smart bone, that's trying to control the same stuff.

But there is only one smart bone. :(
I'll try it again and build a new smart bone.

Thanks !

OH. I watched the video again, and I see the problem now. Your smart bone is passing the same angle TWICE. So at each angle, it is conflicted on which point motion to display. You cannot repeat the same angle in a smart bone action. You don't need to do the turn back...just the turn. Rotating the bone the other way on the mainline will turn it back.
