Hey guys,
Getting twitchy IK bones. I have an arm with a shoulder blade, and the shoulder blade bone twitches depending on where the hand target is. It seems like the IK gets inverted or something as i can sometimes correct it if i rotate the individual bones a bit up the IK tree.
Hopefully i've explained my problem.
Thanks in advance!

Working on a rig right now, with a shoulder bone, but I get none of this in 11.1.

Re: Twitchy bones
Sometimes IK has difficulty resolving all the different constraints with the target. Bone flipping is a common problem. You already figured out that you can help the IK along by manually rotating a bone on the chain. Some animators don't use IK at all, preferring instead to have total control over the movements.
Hey, Gilles, that's a nice rig. Looking forward to seeing it in your tutorial.

Thanks guys,
I'll fight it out with the manual adjustments. No IK? What's the point of living!? ha.
