When I add an audio track mp3, wav, when I attempt to play an animation, nothing happens. scrubber doesn't advance.
just reformatted computer and reinstalled all new software. Sound worked previously to this but I may have forgotten some setup for it. If I eliminate the audio layer animation resumes.

Try different audio format. See if it's the codec, you might have lost it.

Thanks for the suggestions and replies. After following a request this morning to update my flash player, I tried again and it seems to work. Must have had some problem with the flash player, or it was missing because I hadn't installed it after refomatting and restoring my computer
