WTH Happened to CTRL-Drag to Zoom?

Post by b15fliptop »

I used this literally all of the time to zoom in and out on the canvas, and it no longer performs that function. Why was this removed, and can we get it back?

Hi. It works here, but using "SHIFT + Drag" instead (as I think always was). Greetings.

I should probably specify that I'm on a Mac. It has always been CTRL-Drag to zoom, and CTRL-Shift-Drag to pan. The latter still works, but zoom is kaput, it seems.

Ohhh, I kinda suspected there could be something missing around the issue... Then there is little more I can contribute about it, I'm afraid.

On mac still works for me. However, I always use the right mouse to pan and scroll wheel to zoom.

Same here. I didn't even know this was a function so I just tried it and Shift + Right click drag did indeed zoom, Shift + Left click drag panned. Does this work differently for everyone? :?

Yeah, this has definitely changed. I don't use a mouse in ASP, I use a Wacom tablet, and I've been using the same CTRL-Drag to zoom for as long as I can remember, and I've been using ASP since it was MOHO. I really wish this wouldn't have changed. The only way to zoom with the tablet now is to use Cmd + or -, and it isn't nearly as accurate as dragging was.

Dear Anime Studio folk... please bring back CTRL-Drag to zoom!!

Thanks. Shift+Right click drag works for me on Windows.
I just use Right click drag to pan though.

Nothing has changed

Shift + Right-Drag = Zoom

Ctrl + Right-Drag = Rotate

Right-Drag = Pan

From the Moho5 user manual:
Workspace Navigation

The right mouse button can be used to navigate the main Moho workspace. Click and drag with the right mouse button to pan around the workspace. Hold the shift key while dragging with the right mouse button to zoom the workspace. Finally, if you hold down the control key while dragging with the right mouse button, you can rotate the workspace.

You can also zoom the workspace by rolling the mouse wheel back and forth over the workspace.
