I can't recall such in ver6 but wonder if there is a shortcut for closing the ctrl+r render window
esc would be good
that little X is a small target for my mouse and a key stroke would be nice
_______________
Is there a way to change the ctrl+shft+d [timeline zero & back] to the home key
Even toggle home/end?

I use AS Pro 7. I had no use for 8 and I thought I would get 9 for my birthday but it seems I did not drop enough hints off so it looks like the next time there is a sale for 9 I will grab it.arfa wrote:what version are you using?

Re: shortcuts: close render window [and more]
Esc works here too... using 9.2 but I don't think it's new functionality Maybe your window is losing focus somehow??
Re: shortcuts: close render window [and more]
window focus?
I click on the render window + esc... noot, nada
It clearly works - just not on my system.
I can live with that - I may not have choice for now
Other 2 questions?
esp: How to set new - or change existing - ctrl+ [either alt or shft] commands?
EDIT
I had trouble with 'prt scr' which reminded me (particularly HPackard I think) of a bios toggle for F keys.
I tend to sleep/wake most work intervals and I guess memory gets messed.
So, reboot and I can ESCAPE - at least the Render (and other persistant pop-up) windows.
Solved.
