Do You Keep Forgetting To Deselect Keys In Timeline Too?

Post by drumlug13 »

...I'm forming a support group. Or I guess actually I'm requesting an intervention.

I know how the new timeline works. I keep telling myself to deselect earlier key frames before creating new ones. I know what will happen and why it does it. But I just can't seem to stop doing it. Over and over again. I have this compulsion to mess up my own work.

I... i ... i just can't stop myself... i need help.

Hello. My name is adam and i screw up my key frames.

Same problem here,
It's a great feature, but a little tricky because ASP is the only software to work like this. A good solution would be the ability to activate or deactivate it.

Same here. It's a little confusing, I agree with an option to deactivate it.

Absolutely! A toggle on/off switch would be very handy. By the way I did it 3 more times since the original post.

And I thought I was the only one. I also forget to rewind to the first frame when I make drawing changes.

In version 9 you have a design mode (Ctrl+Shift+D). Using it you can go to frame zero, make the changes you want, and then go back to the frame you were before. It is a very useful feature.

for other versions (and 9) Rylander released a 'two way ticket to frame 0' script - I use it all the time.

My name is chucky, I have done it too.
I know it's wrong but I keep relapsing.
It's like I'm just going repeating automatic behaviour, I disgust myself and I want a toggle.

Same here, and I was afraid about it since the beginning, but the hope one could get used to it and the fact that I thought it could be deactivated by scripting at any time made me to take importance away from the issue... But after all this time and knowing now it is "build-in", I totally think that a button on Timeline (or any handy/visible solution) it'd be more than convenient.

I agree. It's a welcome feature but a pain in the ass the way it works now. A simple toggle in the tool options would be the solution.
