Ha! My plan worked!

My comment in this thread viewtopic.php?f=7&t=22635#p125221 forced their hand!!! :D

But seriously, ASP9 is going to be a Toon Boom Harmony killer - 64-bit support and better bones? That's the TBH 10 feature list right there! For a tenth of the price!

I. Can't. Wait!!!

I have both ASP and ToonBoom and ASP has a lot more tutorial resources to learn it then ToonBoom does. Where ToonBoom shines is they have superior product support via their forums. You ask a question on someone on the ToonBoom team will answer your question. ASP is much better price wise and I think that ToonBoon Studio is pretty much being ignored and customers are being directed into the higher priced Animate and Harmony brands. I can remember when the ToonBoom newsletters used to center on Studio but now Studio is pretty much non existent in them anymore. Its all about Harmony and a little Animate Pro.

Editable Velocity Curves!!! Finally.

Let's just cross our fingers for drawing tools with bezier curve editing (will import illustrator files better with fewer points) and true motion blur.

I've never been this excited before about an ASP update! Love the announced new features!

Anime Studio has their webinars which are really good and ToonBoom has their weekly Tips and Tricks which is really good too. I wish we had a weekly Tips and Tricks short vid here as well. :)

I'd rather have software that was so easy to use that I didn't need to be drip-fed instructions on how to use it. :D

I find it odd that SM didn't send the announcement out to all registered users of AS. Was this only sent out to selected registered owners or just a few random people? Or is this some sort of viral campaign they are trying to build?
