Photoshop import

Post by Asterix »

When importing with photoshop dose it place the objets at the right place, or it place everything in the middle of the page - like it dose when you import a regular image in debut?

It imports a bone layer with all your psd layers inside, on the position they had in photoshop.

Once imported are they all on the same layer?

Can we rigg and get the same result as we did the draw in AS?

Why don't you try a simple file and see what happens?

I think you are going to have to re-phrase that question so it can be understood...
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I don't have the pro version.

If I put bones to a imported photoshop file.
#1 All layers will be imported in one layer or put back in many layers (like the original)

#2 Can I put bones to it? If so dose it give the same bending result as if I drawed it directly in ASP.

1. Each layer in PS will be a separate layer in AS. (An image layer holds only 1 image each.)

2. Bending images is different from bending vectors, but yes, it can be done. Be sure to see the last tab of each image layer and check if "warp with bones" is selected ( it should be on by default).

If you need an image to stay rigid, just use layer binding to bind it to 1 bone. If warping is enabled, images will react to bone strength.
