sbtamu, its a legitimate question. I don't like thiskind of process where you have to give you cc details in order to just download a trial.

Dyson, i will try and see if i can find some info for you.
how long do you have left on your trial? Maybe if you contacted support directly at content paradise or from smith micro but i am looking for an answer for you myself.
You can call me Pat.

They let me have a trial without giving my credit card number, and the world didn't end.

They should just let everyone do it. It's really no big deal.

oOo tough crowd!

The only reason I can see for this long winded approach to not getting charged for software you don't want to buy, is to get the frustrated to give up and take a $200 hit. Why not make a desirable app instead?

Imagine if, once you tried on clothes in a shop, your cash is withheld from you until you expressly state in writing to one of the sales reps that you were not interested in purchasing!

Exactly. This is just a 30-day money back guarantee, just dressed up as a "free" demo. While I don't think SM are hoping people will give up and let them keep the money, I do think it's unnecessary and it's hurting the potential market.

Didn't Animation Master use to only have a 30 day MBG? And then they added a cheaper rental model because they were losing sales?

Also this here http://my.smithmicro.com/email_web/anim ... de-sale-2/ seems to still be active. Type in your serial number and see if it gives it to you for 99 USD.
