Remember too it is all to easy to concentrate on one scene, trying to get it "right" when in fact animation is about a sequence of events, scene to scene.
So don't spend too much time looking at the same scene over and over, as you will only see problems and not the overall effect. The reality is you might actually have a good scene which in the bigger picture, is working well.
