I've been toying with the idea to finally use my copy of AS Pro. I bought it a while back and haven't used it. I want to do animation using images I draw and color in PS and then animate with bones in AS.
Some things that are important to me:
-Being able to blur (for DoF)
-Light Effects (which I guess can be done with layers?)
-Good bone controls with images (PNG)
-Secondary bone motion (dynamic bones? - for hair swings)
-And the ability to mask? for eyes and mouth animation? I'm not sure how best to go about that yet. I want to move the eyes around and be able to close it (and not just 1 frame open 1 frame closed - I'd like to have full motion) same for the mouth.
-3d parallax motion
That's the basics of what I'm looking for. Things like lip-sync and particles for smoke would be nice too.
I know my version of AS has a lot of this stuff. SO! Should I upgrade to 7? What major changes (if any) have happened since 5? What will 7 have that 5 doesn't that will help me?
