Turn off points while drawing?

Post by gdub »

Hi,

When drawing with the freehand tool, I find that the points being displayed can be distracting, and it's hard to see the lines that I'm drawing. Is there a way to turn off the points while drawing?

Thanks!

At the bottom right of the screen there's a button called DISPLAY QUALITY. Click it then uncheck paths

Thanks for the info, that must be a feature in the pro version, I should have mentioned that I'm using Debut.

The only trouble with that is that you can't see the line you're drawing either, until you finish drawing it.

Anyway, you can create a vector layer and leave it empty. Then, when you don't want to see any of the construction curves, just select that empty layer.
I used to do this on version 5 (it was faster than opening the display quality menu).
