Hi, I am about to buy a tablet because i am sick of drawing on paper and getting uneven and messy outlines.
right now i draw charecters and anything else on paper scan them into photoshop, colour them in photoshop, save them as PNG's and import them into MOHO.
I am going to purchase a tablet soon, do you think it would be ok to still draw and colour in photoshop 6, or would it be even better to draw and colour in Adobe Illustrator CS.
Would there be any advantage for me using Illustrator?
Thanks in advance.
what software should i use to draw???

I would say do sketches in photoshop, because you seem to be more comfortable in it and you will get a better "emulation" of a real drawing pen/pencil.
Then either bring that bitmap into moho using the trace thingy, and trace it in moho. Or bring the bitmap into Illustrator, trace, save, import into moho.
I would suggest tracing directly in moho, because moho will not be able to import your Illustrator file perfectly, it will add all sorts of points n crap to try and make it look the same.
Having extra vertex points in your project may make it harder to work with.
Also if your exporting to a vector format(such as SWF) the filesize will increase.
If you trace directly in moho you will have total control of how many points you use to recreate your artwork.

i think you can draw good enough in moho and if you work with pngs, the quallity of the pictures could be very low if youre using zoom
But if you really want to use other program to draw, id reccomend Corel Draw. you can export your work in adobe illustrator file and then import it to moho.

I actually brought this up in another thread. I wanted a piece of software to emulate a lunchbox. Here's the thread:

And here's the software mentioned; It's incredible, exactly what I needed:
