Layer distinction in timeline

Post by Jkoseattle »

In the timeline I would like there to be a better distinction between layers. A line to divide them is not a good idea because a horizontal line already holds meaning the timeline. Perhaps alternate shading would make it easy to see one layer from another when multiple layers are shown.
Most of the time I'm doing music stuff. Check me out at http://www.jimofseattle.com/music.

If you add a color label to a layer, that color will appear in the timeline too (when two or more layers are visible on the timeline).
To add a color label to a layer, you can use the label column in the Layers window or (and I like this option, because I prefer to have fewer columns) right click over the visibility column and select a color.
