Keyframe hover

Post by Jkoseattle »

When I hover over a keyframe in the timeline, I would like a tool tip to appear which shows the layer, channel and interpolation for that keyframe.
Most of the time I'm doing music stuff. Check me out at http://www.jimofseattle.com/music.

You should already be able to see the channel. If you have the keyframes setting window opened or docked, it will show the interpolation of the selected key...if you need more than the visual interpolation indicated on the keyframe itself.

Besides the keyframe icon itself, you can also check the current interpolation mode by right-clicking the keyframe. The current mode will be highlighted in the contextual menu. But after a short while of using Moho, the icons should become easily recognizable. (Personally speaking, I wish the icons were a little more legible for high-density screens, but to the dev's credit, they are much better now than they used to be.)

By default, the timeline is always displaying the currently selected layer (but only if it has any keyframes to show.) If you select an item in the viewport, the selected layer will reveal and highlight itself in the Layers panel.

If you select more than one layer at once, you will see the names of the layers in the timeline so you know which keys belong to which layer. (But only if the selected layer has keyframes of course.)
