Well... maybe before they go THAT far with brushes...

support for animated gifs or image sequence brushes might be easier to implement.

but if they were gifs you could not control them into the animation. and gifs resolution would not let you make soft brushes.

i think it´s not exactly animated brushes what we would need. maybe we could have something similar to particles.
for example, you have some boned shape (which will be your animated brush) and put this inside a "particle brush", so it multiply this around a shape.

each "particle brush" could be selected as styles.

what do you think?

Some kind of string dynamics on a stroke/soft dynamics would be well cool.....

Living Cels had animated brushes, but unfortunately it didn't have bones. So it is possible to animate a brush stroke, the question would be incorporating that into ASPro.
