Particle Origin Problem?

Post by drumlug13 »

Bug? Or do you see a mistake on my part here?

All of the layers circled in red here have their origins set in the white spot at the middle of the guitar. But the particles are coming out of the middle of the character's forehead. Do you see anything in the particle settings window that would mess with the origin point of the particles?

Or... Are the particle layers just going to be screwy until the next update?

Instead of changing the origins of the particle sublayers, you probably want to translate those layers to the right position.

That's what I meant. I had all the layers translated so the points were in the same spot. But you are correct... again.

When I use particles I always create everything, particle & nested layers in the center before I move anything. But of course somewhere along the way the origin was moved.

Thanks Wes
