No Keyframes on Separate Dimensions

Post by Ryanryan »

I believe I have found a bug. I am currently utilizing Moho Pro 12.4 on Mac. I noticed that when using the "Separate Dimensions" feature when right clicking vector point motions on the timeline, going forward the Add Keyframe command will not affect (and thus not keyframe) any point that has been separated into the X and Y categories on the timeline. It took me awhile to figure out why certain vector points were not keyframing correctly.

I assume that this is unintentional! Can anyone else confirm this issue?

That is intentional. Separate Dimensions allows you to keyframe on one axis while not on another. Adding a main channel keyframe would once again join both axes together on a frame, which would mess up the separate axis animation.

There probably could stand to be some visual indicator of which points have split axes though.

For now, this script from hayasidist may help show you which points are keyed on the frame: https://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewto ... 12&t=31612

Thank you for the reply! I guess I assumed that the add keyframe function would serve as a catch all to make sure that ALL channels have their coordinates, position, etc. logged and frozen. I'll check out the script link, thank you.

Here's a quick mod to the select points tool: https://sites.google.com/site/synthsin/ ... ects=0&d=1
It indicates which points have their dimensions split.
