Anime Studio just crashes immediately when I select it and I get the Windows error that the program isn't responding.
Using Windows 7 SP1, 64 bit. ATI Radeon 4800 video card.
I've updated my video drivers but no joy.
The crash happens with or without GPU acceleration enabled in the preferences.
It happens every single time I select it, haven't been able to use it once.
I haven't seen any similar posts to this on here. I've asked SmithMicro about it but I'm curious to know if anyone else come across this problem.
UPDATE
Smith Micro replied pretty quickly and said that they suspected my video card is the culprit. After searching the AMD site again I found another 'lasest up to the minute installer' for the drivers and control panel. Uninstalled the previous one first then installed the new and can now use the preview animation command. I've still had a couple of crashes when checking the 'Disable GPU' in the preferences but at least I know now what's causing the problem so I'm quite happy.
