ASP9. Crash. Rename layer and opacity change

Getting numerous and almost guaranteed crash if I rename a vector layer in an open project.

Will definitely get a crash if i try to do an image opacity change.

Once I reopen the project, from its backup, i can then change the layer name or opacity and continue.

Projects will crash again after working more and doing the same again.

Do not have this issue with ASP 8.2

This often also happens if i rename a text layer.

I have this identical problem. Similarly AS9 Pro (64bit) does not like it when I try to add masks to my projects. Last night it crashed 7 times in 20 minutes.

Here are the specs for my MacBook Air:

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.8.2
Processor: 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
