Question about Pricing

Hello, I'm not an artist, I'm an author and I was hoping you guys could provide me with some information.

Basically, I have a fantasy book series that I want to someday turn into an animated feature film. Big dream, I know, so I want to start small. I have found a musician who is interested in collaborating on a music video with me. She's writing a song based on the first of the books in my series.

Once the song is complete, I then want to create an animated music video to go along with it. The video would be roughly 3-4 minutes long (an estimate of the length of the song), and would feature scenes from the book (sort of like the video for Breath of Life by Florence and the Machine for the new Snow White movie, but animated, of course). I'd prefer semi-realistic animation, but realize that's more expensive than some other types of animation. I also don't really know if it should be 2-D or 3-D, but in any event, I'd want it to look really professional and eye-catching, and appeal to my demographic. (women 18-40)

Obviously, I realize that a project of this scale will be costly. I need an animator/animation team that can do the Pre-production, production and post-production, since I do not have the skills needed to do any of this work. I obviously don’t have thousands of dollars lying around to fund this project by myself, so I would have to turn to something like Kickstarter to hopefully raise the funds needed to produce this video. My question is this...how much would an animator/animation team charge for this type of project?
