So what is needed in a Creative writers portfolio for showing to Anime Companies?
What I have:
-My Storylines
-Character lists
-a couple of conceptual drawings
Do I need more for my portfolio? I am clueless on where to go from here in transforming it to animation...
any help?

You should learn Japanese, if you don't already.
I don't think an Anime studio will put you in charge of a production based only on a list of characters and a couple of concept drawings. If you produce a manga version of your story, and it becomes successful in Japan, then I think you have a much greater chance of getting an anime produced out of it. Many successful manga get turned into anime.

Stories are usually commissioned from known sources, adapted from successful alternatives, or produced in-house. If you don't fit in to any of these categories, you have to work out how you can break into the business. Learning Japanese would be a start!
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?
