Need help rigging a complex character.

Post by focus187 »

I am looking for assistance finishing/rigging up a complex character rig I have been working on. The issues I need help with mainly have to do with smart bone action conflicts and other misc issues. You can refer to the videos below for a preview. I am willing to pay $$$, just need to discuss more details with anyone interested.

I think that you have a good start on the rig. But I would separate it into 4 poses. Front, 45, 90 and back. If you want a smooth turn around you push from the front to the 45. Then 45 to the 90 and the 90 to the back. The problem is that doing each segment is difficult and when you try doing them all at once your compounding each of them.

I am trying to do something similar, but just a partial turn. It is a headache. Sometimes I just get sick of looking at my characters.
I would like to team up with someone else, so when someone gets stuck the other person can help them out. But I am not sure how far I would get.

There was animator, jupitor6 offering custom work. You could try messaging them.
