Papagayo 2 phonomes

Post by rdolishny »

I'm new to the software coming from Lightwave 3D.

Papagayo with a Lightwave Importer from M Green is amazing. I'm trying to figure out the interface a bit:

1. can I play from the middle of a sound clip without starting from the top. I just figured out how to double click a 'word' so that's a good start.
2. how are the phonomes across the bottom generated and can I edit or delete them? I find so far with my testing there are a few too many mouth shapes for my liking. The mouth is moving too fast at times.

Otherwise, I'm really digging this new (for me) tool. Thank you!

I agree, and usually duplicate a few mouth shapes for several phonemes, leaving me with about five different mouth shapes. You can create your own mouths for PGO or just wait to see the abridged result when you apply it to your animation.

I figured it out.

Right click the orange (on my system) word. That brings up the phonomes. You can edit them all you like or add your own. Perfect!
