Here is a link to my incomplete animation that I was preparing for the contest. The sound-track is complete, but the last third has not been completed and some of the other frames could use some tweaking.

Please let me know what you think. This is just a low-res SWF, but the frame render should give you an idea of how the hi-res looks.

I can't get to the web page either. Shame, because the still image looks really promising. I hope you'll still finish the film, even if not for the competition.

It sounds like there will be other competitions in the future, so maybe you could submit it to one of those.

The image looks really wonderful. As others said above, I'd love to check it out, but couldn't get the link to open.

Simple mis-spelling on the filename, I puzzled it out (not too hard), link should be http://hlarledge.com/gallery/no5_Incomplete.swf.

Looks cool, from what I can see, but I wish it wasn't quite so lo-res.

Sorry about that. Of course, 7Feet has deduced correctly. I do plan to finish it. In a way, it's good that I have more time to do it right now. My whole approach was simply wanting to learn all I could about Moho. Thus far, I am very impressed with the knowledge I've gathered about a really great product.

The trick to watching it is to sit as far back as possible and let your eyes go blurry. :)

Definitely finish it! If we do another contest (and I see no reason not to) I think the next theme will be simple like "5" so that you can probably find a way that this film fits it with out too much thought/effort.

I had actually rendered as an uncompressed AVI. It is over 300 meg. Using Sound Forge to convert to Flash, that's why I ended up with that quality, but it is a small file. :)

Use Flash Video (FLV)...

Use Flash Video (FLV). Its really the best way to show video at this point. As long as the user has flash player 7 installed they will see your work.

Well worth completing. Hope to see it in one of the upcoming contests.
