The Five Rooms

The movie can be found at the following link.

http://www.tiomeg.com

The link goes to a swedish site so unless you study swedish or live in sweden you will probably not be able to read what to do, so you better follow my instructrions. To begin with you will have to enter the username: FiveRooms. (enter it below the word "användarnamn") and then the password: 8BErMk (enter it below the word "lösenord" which is swedish for password). Press the Ok button to go on. Click on the Winzip icon next to the text: "The Five Rooms.zip" to the left.

To the right there will now a button named: "Hämta". (Which is swedish for download). Click on that button.

I'm aware of the fact that there I've made a couple of misstakes, but it's such a pain fixing them, so I didn't bother.

You will need the DivX codec to see the movie, so If you don't already have it you can download it for free at http://www.download.com.

:!:  :!:

Sorry about the low quality, I'll have to find a better compressor.

Thanks to nobudget, the file can, at the moment, also be found at:

This is that "5 times download a day maximum" site right? Well, unless you want to miss votes you might want to consider another place to park that file. Hey wait a minute, that's brilliant! You incorporated the "5" theme to the maximum downloads. You are a smart guy!

I'm curious to see it now, stop teasing ok?

You know Moho has been created with 2D animation in mind right? You use it as a 3D program! It looked like a combination between a first person shooter and a 8Bit computer, thanks to the music and titles. Is the elevator a secret 6th room?

It was fun to see some Moho effects popping up like the wave effect and the use of 3D space. If you can add a character showing you around the house that would be even better!

One question, do you have future projects planned and if so, what style? This seems like a test of working in 3D space, will you continue on that road or will you attempt more "traditional" animation next? I'm curious because one of the strenghts of Moho is its open approach, the user is not bound to the traditional rules of animation.

i found out how can i take you out of buisness in 5 seconds!!!
all i need to do is to login with the id and password you provide and then change the password.

i folowed the status bar as i moved the mouse over the links:

Profil (profile)
>Ändra ditt lösenord(Change password)
>Ditt gamla lösenord(enter old password-i guess)
>Ditt nya lösenord(enter new password-i guess)
>Skriv in ditt nya lösenord igen(re-enter new password-i guess)
>Ändra(change - i guess)

And nobody can open the site, just me or somebody else who whould do this steps!!!

Or simply upload another Fiverooms.zip file with another animation (maybe a porn file?) !!!

I wrote you this to open your eyes about this posibilities, so maybe you'll find another method of posting, like a link to a zip file on a web page, and not leting anybody on you acount, where with the password you provide they can take you out of competition.

I don't know the language this tiomeg site interfaces is made in , but as i said the links are in english, and it's an easy job to to what i showed you.
And i'm not a computer freak just a curious guy.

And i did'nt changed a thing, just folowed the links and wrote this repost.
And the animation is a nice piece of work, you are good.

Take care

Nobudget:

I've been planning on combining 2D and 3D but it take a lot of work to make it look realistic. I'm now working on learning a great 3D modelling program called Amoprhium in which i'll try to make some nice charachters.

Kilerant:

I'm aware of the fact that anybody, if they tried a little bit, could screw up the whole thing for me, but I decided to trust the users of moho. I wouldent have done the sme thing at any other forum, but I think the guys here are too serious to bee doing that kind of stoff. If I am wrong and sombody actually does do something naughty, I could change the password again, cause only I have the password to my e-mail. So the only thing I have to do is to tell them I forgot my password and they would send it to me. Ofcourse, then I would have to find another site to which I could upload (or go back to the system I used to use which limited the file to five downloads day), but as I said: I trust the moho-users.

Good job with the project and showcases a few ideas to look into later.

I've been trying to download this film for several days, but with no success. :( The progress guage is just stuck at about 60%, and it doesn't move. I think I cannot be the only one, as I have noticed you have not received much feedback. I think it might be a good idea to find a better place to store the file where it would be easier to access.

"find a better place to store the file where it would be easier to access"

Since I still had the file on my harddrive I've taken the liberty of putting it on my site so those interested can download it. Click here:
http://www.nobudgetvideo.com/contest/ot ... erooms.avi
and right-click the file "thefiverooms.avi" to save to your computer. Just clicking to watch doesn't seem to work somehow. If Hiddicop has any objections I'm sure he'll let me know.

Thanks Nobudget!

I've been trying to find a better uploadsite but they are all limited, unless you want to pay them.

Thank you a lot!
