Moho Animation Contest Entry: 5 (To Santa)

This animation (To Santa) is actually 2 minutes and 28 seconds long, so i shortend it down to exaclty 2 minutes. Therefor the sound is faster then it should be. The quality is quite bad cause, and the file is zipped.

The movie can be found at the following link.

http://www.tiomeg.com

The link goes to a swedish site so unless you study swedish or live in sweden you will probably not be able to read what to do, so you better follow my instructrions. To begin with you will have to enter the username: Hiddicop. (enter it below the word "användarnamn") and then the password: ubmtTx
(enter it below the word "lösenord" which is swedish for password). Press the Ok button to go on. There will appear a folder named movies to the left. Click on the"+" to the left of the icon and click on the Winzip icon next to the text: To Santa.zip

To the right there will now a button named: "Hämta". (Which is swedish for download). Click on this button.

The boy in the movie is five years old (so nobody complains about me not following the subject). There also are a total of five stars in the movie (including the young boy) :?

Perhaps my english is not the best, but after all i'm, a sweed.

The movie took me a total of five hours to make, and I think it got wuite good. But I don't think I will win the contest, cause this is the very first animation I've made. :D

 Oops... I'm truly sorry! I forgot that the site limited the downloads of the file to five a day.

I think ive fixed it, so if you just follow the instructions in the first post but use the following links and passwords instead (just use one of them, and if that one doesn't work try another one):

http://www.tiomeg.com/index.asp?psi=549C7E842DBCEA88
Password: Ka4Ddc

http://www.tiomeg.com/index.asp?psi=377B2F4B1D88CDA1
Password: tgUjsn

Password: FL69dC

http://www.tiomeg.com/index.asp?psi=A88EA79C6EA1F369
Password: sgfZ_D

P.S: You can still use the original link.

P.P.S: Anybody know any good site to which you can upload whitout these silly limitations :?:

:? Well, it must be really popular, because I can't download your film from anyof the links! You'll have to find a site with higher bandwidth allowance.

I've already tried Geocities, but they have a maximum upload size of 5 Mb. Are there any other free upload-sites? :?:

I also tried http://www.streamload.com (but there you have to pay to let other people see it, and you could also only see 12 times a day.)

Untill I've found another site you will only be able to download it five times per day. I'm thankfull for every suggestion.

Ok... I've now fixed the problem. To make it a bit easier I edited the orignal post. Follow the new instructions to watch my movie.

Ooops.. My misstake again... But that was probably the last misstake. The password should be: ubmtTx

(I changed the original message again, so now the password is correct there too)

Fix for big .avi files...

I got a codec error. You should take your .avi and make it a .flv using Riva FLV and put it in a flash file. It will look good and be smaller. Plus if the user has flash they can see it. My moive is huge ( over 80 mb as a avi) but as a.flv it is a 4 mb streaming flash "thing":

http://home.comcast.net/~rayjon3/flash/ ... ipOne.html

Using .flv is the only way to go.

I want to see the To Santa video!!!! I like the northern european animation style.

hmm...

I'm not realy into codecs, but I think I encoded it with DivX, which apperantly was a misstake. Anyhow the DivX codec can be downloaded for free, and I suppose it works on the most operativesystems.

Whats your operative system? What player are you using? Do you have the same problem with other movies in .avi format?
