Another 'newie' how do I edit lines?

Post by Ambthegreat »

I've been going through the tutorials, and at 2-Drawing->Brushes
It tells me to click the box that says "No Brush" in the style window to edit a line, but I cant find the box.
I would put a picture of the screen in to show you what i mean but i don't know how to 'print screen' on macs. :)
thankyou if you can help.

Brose.

It is just to the right of Line Colour and Line Width. Postage stamp size.

Are you looking in the little pop-up window that says 'Style' at the top.
You may have closed this window by accident

You may already have a brush selected, in which case, the preview of it will be displayed. Just click on the square box next to the Line Colour and Line Width boxes

There is no square box, i also can't find the 'display quality' popup.
Is it a mistake thingy like the File->Render one? or is it just me?
Do you mean the colour picker?
p.s. can you tell me how to 'print screen' I can do it on Pc's but not macs.

Uhm, way back wrongness here.

Make sure your "style" palette is open. If not, look under "windows" in the menu bar on top of the screen.

The described items show up even if you haven't drawn any shape or assigned a fill and stroke to them.

Ah - I think a lightbulb has just come on! You must be using the Standard version (i.e. Not AS PRO). I don't know what the screen for it looks like, but I know it doesn't have the render option. You probably can't use brushes either. Sorry Mate! Maybe someone else can help.

I don't know anything about Macs at all, had a PC since 1988. Plenty of Mac users here though - someone will help shortly.

Best Wishes.

I think that you can get a trial version of ASP from the e-frontier website.

http://www.e-frontier.com/article/artic ... 3?sbss=793

There are a few differences, and you can find lots of info on that at the site too. A lot of our members here have the Standard version. It's a lot more expensive for the Pro version, and the Standard may do you for a while at least. Best Wishes
