use my actions

I created some actions for walking, jumping and so on. But when I place them on my main timeline they all get messed up.
This doesn't happen when i use "Insert a copy", but i want to use them as references.

I also noticed that I created my actions "accidentally" in my bone-layer. When i go to my group-layer, all my actions are gone.
I'm just a newbie, so perhaps it's normal that they don't appear in the group-layer.
