Particle folder question

I want to use particles of musical notes of different values Half,quarter etc. Can I use more than one image in a particle folder?

This is exactly what I did twenty seconds after I asked the question. And yes it does work. Sorry to have wasted anyones time. I do usually try to try things first and ask questions after but in this case I lapsed into my old ways.
