Most frustrating Moho waste of time.. workaround?

Post by Jkoseattle »

My #1 most frustrating thing in Moho is, bar none:

DRAGGING KEYFRAMES

I'm looking in the timeline, and I'm zoomed out a little but nothing crazy, and I want to drag one teeny weeny keyframe to a different point in time, and I swear there's exactly ONE FRIGGIN' PIXEL spot where the mouse has to be to be able to successfully grab it to drag. The other option is to zoom all the way in when the keyframe gets large enough to easily grab, but then I have to move all the way out again to see things clearly,(and the zooming logic does not zoom in based on the current point in time, which would make the most sense, no it zooms based on the leftmost frame visible on screen....????) Sure, I could drag a box around it, hit Cut and Paste where I want, but it's way less elegant, and more importantly, it doesn't work at all unless the layer you're working on is the active layer. Which is inconvenient on its own sometimes. I just can't figure out an easy way to do this simple, repetitive task. Please tell me there are workarounds!!
Most of the time I'm doing music stuff. Check me out at http://www.jimofseattle.com/music.

So you need to be able to drag a selected keyframe without needing to click on it again.
A script could do that...just don't know if I have the time for that one.

I think this is the issue about the unreasonably tiny area where the mouse click recognises the keyframe when zoomed out. http://lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=31491 It's a logged issue.

there's also a request to make the timeline zoom more intelligent (38406 for those who care)

This might help:

For any selected keyframes, you can drag in the workspace to move them on the timeline.
So you can select the keys, zoom the timeline, and then drag those keys without having to click directly on them.
